Regional transportation infrastructure projects launch in Mexico and Argentina

In Mexico, the RedMetro Riviera Huasteca project is advancing to connect nine municipalities through a new free public transportation line. The initiative, led by Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, involves coordination between the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation (SCT) and the Secretariat of Urban Development, Housing, and Public Works (Seduvop) to construct and adapt new transit stops. The route aims to facilitate daily travel for students, workers, and families by placing stops near educational institutions and community hubs.

In Argentina, the municipality of Jesús María has announced the inauguration of a new bus terminal scheduled for August 26. The new facility includes a revised transit scheme for long-distance and interurban companies. Long-distance services from the south and north will follow specific entry routes via National Route 9 to reach the terminal without intermediate urban stops, while interurban services from Córdoba and northern localities will utilize designated urban corridors to ensure connectivity with the city center and educational sectors.
