Regional wine festivals in Serbia and Croatia have highlighted local viticulture through various cultural and gastronomic events.
In Vlasotince, Serbia, the 40th Wine Ball commenced with a caricature exhibition focused on wine and grapes. The event featured local winemaker stands, folklore performances from various cultural societies, and a concert by Tropiko bend. Local officials, including the State Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, attended the festivities.
In Zadar County, Croatia, the month-long “Damižana” eno-gastronomic event showcased over 160 types of wine from 90 producers across the region. The festival, held at the Cedulin Palace, attracted approximately 10,000 visitors and aimed to strengthen the area's tourism through the promotion of Dalmatian wines.
