Reliance Jio and Airtel launch premium 28‑day prepaid plans in India

Reliance Jio has expanded its 28‑day prepaid portfolio to 13 plans priced between Rs 123 and Rs 545. The lowest‑cost Rs 123 plan offers unlimited voice, 300 SMS and 0.5 GB per day, while higher‑priced packs add unlimited 5G, JioHotstar, Google Gemini Pro membership, cloud storage, gaming services and other OTT subscriptions. All plans remain valid for 28 days.

Bharti Airtel’s flagship Rs 598 prepaid plan also runs for 28 days and provides unlimited voice, 100 SMS per day, 2 GB of daily data plus a 300 GB 5G data cap. The plan bundles one‑month subscriptions to JioHotstar Basic, Netflix Basic, ZEE5 Premium and Airtel Xstream Play. Both operators require users to recharge via their respective apps or third‑party platforms.
