Reliance Jio unveils 15‑month Freedom broadband package with 100 Mbps speed and 12 OTT apps

Reliance Jio, India’s largest telecom operator, launched a new Freedom broadband pack priced at Rs 10,000. The plan provides 15 months of service validity, 100 Mbps symmetric download and upload speeds, free voice calling, and access to more than 1,000 live TV channels through the JioTV app. It also includes subscriptions to twelve over‑the‑top (OTT) platforms – Jio Hotstar, Zee5, SonyLIV, SunNXT, HoiChoi, Discovery+, TimesPlay, TarangPlus, ErosNow, Lionsgate Play, ShemarooMe and ETV Win – and a free set‑top box.

The offer is targeted at Jio Home customers using Jio Fiber or AirFiber and can be subscribed to via the MyJio mobile app or Jio’s website. In a separate promotion, Jio introduced a Rs 999 prepaid plan that offers 98 days of validity, 2 GB of data per day (total 196 GB), unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, unlimited 5G data, Google AI Pro services (including Gemini Pro and 5 TB cloud storage), and a free JioHotstar Mobile subscription. Both offers aim to strengthen Jio’s broadband and 5G services portfolio.
