Religious communities observe Bible Month in Argentina and Bolivia

Religious communities in Argentina and Bolivia are observing Bible Month through various educational and spiritual activities.

In Humahuaca, Argentina, the Prelature is hosting a series of events organized by the Biblical Animation of Pastoral team. These activities include training sessions, reflection spaces, and prayer meetings for catechists, families, and children. Bishop Félix Paredes emphasized that the study of Sacred Scripture should be central to Christian identity, noting that the month coincides with the feast of Saint Jerome.

In El Alto, Bolivia, the Diocese has inaugurated a formative week focused on biblical teaching. Held at the Santa María de los Ángeles Parish, the event featured a presentation by Father Jean Pierre Atsu Kplaku on the Wisdom Books of the Old Testament. The session explored the evolution of the concept of wisdom and analyzed the figures of the wise and the foolish in texts such as Proverbs, Job, and Ecclesiastes.
