Religious pilgrimages scheduled in Ushuaia and Bariloche
Various religious pilgrimages and celebrations are scheduled across Argentina. In Ushuaia, the Agrupación Tradicionalista Jujeña Tácita de Plata has organized activities on October 10 and 11 to honor the Virgen del Rosario de Río Blanco y Paypaya. The program includes a mass at the María Auxiliadora Parish followed by a pilgrimage to Monte Olivia.
In Bariloche, the pilgrimage to the Grotto of the Virgen de Las Nieves has been rescheduled to October 25. This change from the usual November date is due to local conventional elections. The event, themed ‘With Mary united, we walk waiting for Pope Leo,’ serves as a spiritual preparation for the anticipated arrival of Pope Leo XIV in Argentina. The day will feature central masses led by Bishop Juan Carlos Ares.
