Ren Meguro appointed Mizuho Financial Group brand ambassador

Ren Meguro, a member of the group Snow Man, has been appointed as a brand ambassador for Mizuho Financial Group. Following his previous role as an image character for Mizuho Bank, he will now represent the entire group's corporate brand.

A new television commercial titled ‘Challenging with Youth: The Canada Challenge Edition’ is scheduled to begin airing on October 1, 2026. The advertisement, filmed in Canada, uses a documentary-style approach to depict Meguro’s personal pursuit of acting opportunities in Hollywood, emphasizing the theme of taking on new challenges in unfamiliar environments.

In an interview, Meguro expressed personal sentiment regarding the appointment, noting that Mizuho was the first institution where he opened a bank account as a child. He shared that the filming process in Canada was a memorable experience that resonated with the brand's message of supporting individual challenges.
