Renato Sanches in talks with Corinthians after PSG departure

Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches is reportedly in discussions to join the Brazilian club Corinthians. After his contract with Paris Saint-Germain was terminated this summer, the 29-year-old free agent is seeking a new club to revitalize his career following a successful loan spell at Panathinaikos.

Sanches had previously prioritized staying in Europe and was involved in advanced negotiations with the Spanish side Getafe. He had also reportedly declined financial offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia and Major League Soccer to pursue a European project. However, those talks with Getafe failed to reach an agreement.

Following the collapse of European options, Sanches has reportedly opened the door to a move to Brazil. Corinthians has submitted a second formal offer to the former Bayern Munich player in an attempt to integrate him into the squad quickly.
