Renault is transitioning into a new strategic phase under the FutuReady program, marking a shift from the previous Renaulution plan. Starting in 2028, the company's Palencia plant in Spain will convert to electric vehicle production using the new RGEV Medium 2.0 platform. This transition will be spearheaded by the upcoming electric Rafale and Scenic models.

In the commercial vehicle sector, Renault is preparing to showcase its strategy at the IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover. A central component of this presentation will be the new Trafic Van E-Tech electric model. The company aims to focus not only on vehicle specifications but also on specialized services and conversion solutions for professional clients through its Renault Pro+ division.
