Renault India opens bookings for Duster Strong Hybrid

Renault India has opened bookings for the new Duster Strong Hybrid E-Tech 160, with an official market launch scheduled for October 17, 2026. Customers can secure the vehicle with a booking amount of 21,000 rupees.

The SUV features E-Tech hybrid technology, which utilizes a 1.8-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine paired with two electric motors and a 1.4 kWh battery pack. This system produces a combined output of 160 hp and 172 Nm of torque. The vehicle utilizes a multi-mode automatic transmission to manage power between the petrol engine and electric motors based on driving conditions.

Renault claims an ARAI-certified mileage of 29 kilometers per liter. The hybrid system is designed to recharge the battery through driving and braking without the need for external charging. This model enters a competitive mid-size SUV segment, positioned to compete with hybrid models such as the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
