Renault launches 4 Plein Sud version with large fabric sunroof, priced from €37,290

Renault has added a new "Plein Sud" version to its electric Renault 4 range. The model features a large, electrically‑operated fabric sunroof (92 cm long by 80 cm wide) that can also be opened by voice command. It is equipped with a 52 kWh battery and a 150 hp motor, delivering a WLTP mixed‑cycle range of up to 392 km (down from 399 km on the standard version). The variant is offered in two trims – Techno and Iconic – with a starting price of €37,290; the Iconic trim adds €2,000, making the Plein Sud €1,800 more expensive than the conventional Renault 4.

Additional updates to the R4 line include an interior driver‑monitoring camera, an emergency‑brake‑assist system, a 2 GB/month data package for three years, and a new water‑to‑water heat exchanger that cuts cold‑weather charging times by up to 30 minutes.
