Renault launches Symbioz hybrid crossover in Israel

Renault’s Israeli importer, freesbe, introduced the Symbioz hybrid crossover to the local market. The vehicle is offered in two trim levels – Techno priced at 159,990 ₪ and Techno SR at 166,990 ₪, the latter adding a panoramic glass roof with four electrically‑controlled tint settings.

The Symbioz uses Renault’s new Full Hybrid 160 powertrain, coupling a 1.789‑litre gasoline engine with an electric motor for a combined output of 160 hp. It can travel more than 1,000 km on a single fuel tank, consumes 4.4 L per 100 km (WLTP), accelerates from 0‑100 km/h in 9.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 180 km/h. Cargo space ranges from 460 L to 592 L, expanding to 1,546 L when the rear seats are fully folded.

Inside, the Symbioz features a 10.4‑inch Google‑based OpenR Link infotainment system, a 10.25‑inch digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless charging, a smart key, electric parking brake with Auto‑Hold, and a 360° camera system. Standard equipment includes 18‑inch alloy wheels, full‑LED lighting and a suite of safety aids such as adaptive cruise control and autonomous emergency braking.
