Renault Kwid 2026 launched in India with two variants, prices from ₹4.53 lakh

Renault has introduced the updated 2026 Kwid in India, offering two trim levels – Evolution and Climber – each available with a 5‑speed manual or AMT gearbox. Prices start at ₹4.53 lakh for the Evolution manual and go up to ₹5.61 lakh for the Climber AMT version. The hatchback retains its 1.0‑litre three‑cylinder petrol engine, delivering around 68‑69 hp and 92 Nm of torque, and achieves fuel economy of about 22 km / l.

New safety and convenience features include dual front airbags (six in the Climber), LED DRLs, a 8‑inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear‑view camera, remote‑key‑less entry, and electronic stability control. The Climber adds dual‑tone exterior styling, upgraded wheel covers and additional interior trim.

Renault also signals a forthcoming 2027 Kwid version for the Brazilian market, noting that the model will carry over most Indian updates while adding further safety enhancements.
