Renault offers Boreal discounts via Move Brasil program

Renault has introduced special pricing for its Boreal model targeting taxi drivers and ride-hailing professionals through the Move Brasil program. Under this initiative, taxi drivers can access discounts of up to R$ 56,510 on various configurations, including the Techno and Iconic versions. Ride-hailing drivers are eligible for direct commercial discounts of up to R$ 12,000 on the Evolution and Techno versions.

The expansion of these benefits follows a decision by the Brazilian Federal Government to increase the financing ceiling for the Move Brasil program from R$ 150,000 to R$ 200,000.

Despite these manufacturer incentives, the Move Brasil program, managed by the Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services, has faced implementation challenges. Of the R$ 30 billion originally planned for vehicle financing, only approximately R$ 4 billion (13.3%) has been released. Obstacles cited include credit analysis rejections, operational bottlenecks, low interest from private banks, and a delayed rollout of the Investment Guarantee Fund (FGI).
