Renault rolls out Full Hybrid E-Tech 160 models in Greece with up to 1,000 km range

Renault has launched its new Full Hybrid E-Tech 160 powertrain in the Greek market. The system combines a 1.8‑litre gasoline engine with two electric motors and a 1.4 kWh battery that recharges during braking, eliminating the need for external charging. It delivers 160 hp, a fuel consumption of roughly 4 l per 100 km and a theoretical driving range of about 1,000 km on a single tank. The hybrid package is available in the Renault Clio, Captur and the larger Symbioz SUV, with prices starting at €24,500.

Renault also promotes the Captur and the newer Austral SUV with the same hybrid architecture. The Captur can be ordered with a factory‑fitted bi‑fuel (gasoline/LPG) option, while the Austral’s full‑hybrid variant offers 150‑200 hp depending on the version and fuel consumption around 4.4‑4.6 l/100 km. Both models feature the multi‑mode automatic gearbox and the same electric‑assisted driving characteristics as the other hybrid offerings.
