Renault rolls out Twingo E‑Tech electric to UK dealers ahead of launch

Renault has delivered more than 100 left‑hand‑drive Twingo E‑Tech electric display cars, all finished in Absolute Green, from France to dealerships across the United Kingdom. The static fleet allows prospective buyers to see the compact city EV up close before order books open later this year.

The rollout follows earlier public showcases at London Battersea, the Maison Renault experience on Oxford Street and the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Prospective customers can secure priority ordering through the £100 R Pass, which also grants exclusive ownership benefits.

Renault targets a starting price below £20,000, positioning the Twingo E‑Tech among the most affordable new electric cars in the UK market. The model features a 27.5 kWh lithium‑iron‑phosphate battery powering a 60 kW motor, a WLTP range of up to 163 miles, one‑pedal driving and optional Google‑built infotainment. "Interest in Renault EVs is soaring, with Twingo really grabbing people's attention," said Adam Wood, Managing Director of Renault UK.
