Renault Symbioz multimedia system performance assessed in long-distance test

A long-distance test of the Renault Symbioz Techno, equipped with a factory LPG installation, has assessed the performance of its Google-based openR link 10.4" multimedia system and Harman Kardon audio.

The multimedia system showed reliable performance during a 1,000-kilometer journey, maintaining stable connections with both Android and iPhone devices via Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay without freezing or restarting. While voice commands and manual operations were described as reliable, the GPS experienced two instances of losing the route during driving, though it recovered within seconds.

In terms of cabin comfort, the Symbioz is noted to have less sound insulation than higher models like the Austral or Espace, requiring higher audio volume for music playback at speeds exceeding 120 km/h.
