Reniec to provide special weekend service for DNI collection in Peru
The National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (Reniec) will provide special service hours this weekend, September 12 and 13, across various agencies in Peru. The initiative aims to facilitate access to identification services and allow citizens to collect their national identity documents (DNI) ahead of the Regional and Municipal Elections scheduled for October 4, 2026.
On Saturday, September 12, 112 agencies will operate nationwide, including locations in Piura, La Libertad, Lambayeque, Tumbes, Cajamarca, San Martín, Loreto, Áncash, Junín, Ayacucho, Arequipa, Cusco, Lima, Puno, Ica, Ucayali, Huancavelica, Madre de Dios, and Amazonas. In Arequipa, specific offices in Paucarpata, Camaná, Majes, and Islay will be available.
On Sunday, September 13, service will continue at 13 centers located in Piura, Lambayeque, Tumbes, Lima, and Puno, operating from 8:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Citizens are advised to check the official Reniec website to confirm if their documents are ready for pickup before visiting an agency.
