Rental prices rise in Cádiz and Jerez de la Frontera

Rental prices in several Andalusian cities have seen significant increases, according to data from the Fotocasa Real Estate Index. In Cádiz, the average monthly rent has surpassed 1,000 euros, reaching 1,043 euros after a 3.9% annual increase. This rise is partly attributed to the high summer season and increased tourist demand, with many short-term summer listings exceeding 1,500 euros per fortnight.

In Jerez de la Frontera, the average rent for an 80-square-meter home has reached 881 euros, representing a 15% year-on-year surge.

Across the region, Marbella and Estepona remain the most expensive locations for renters, with monthly averages exceeding 1,530 euros. Other high-cost areas include Tarifa, Benahavís, and Nerja. In contrast, cities like Baza, Baeza, and Cazorla offer much lower rental options, with prices remaining below 500 euros per month.
