Republika Srpska institutions targeted ahead of July 11 election

Branimir Kojić, head of the Association of Families of the Captured and Fallen Fighters and Missing Civilians from Srebrenica, said that Bosniak officials have recently attacked institutions of Republika Srpska, including the Ministry of Interior, as part of an unofficial pre‑election campaign ahead of the July 11 vote. He urged the police to intensify activity, especially in the Podrinje region, and called for equal enforcement of Republika Srpska’s laws.

Ervin Ibrahimović, president of the Bosnian Party, visited former Yugoslav President Bogić Bogićević at the Reumal rehabilitation centre in Fojnica. Accompanied by former Croatian President Stjepan Mesić, Ibrahimović highlighted Bogićević’s role in preventing the imposition of emergency rule during Yugoslavia’s breakup and reaffirmed support for EU integration of the Western Balkans.
