Italian rescue teams treat injuries in four separate incidents

A 57‑year‑old man suffered a suspected shoulder dislocation while climbing near the Capofiume stream in Collepardo, province of Frosinone. He was rescued by the Lazio National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps (CNSAS) and transferred to hospital by ambulance.

On the island of Giannutri, a tourist fell and fractured her wrist. Red Cross volunteers provided first aid and an air‑ambulance evacuated her to an orthopaedic department for treatment.

In the Gole del Sammaro area of Sacco, a woman experienced a sudden illness while hiking. The CNSAS and nearby Carabinieri Forestali responded, assisted her and escorted her to an awaiting 118 ambulance.

At the Campo dei Fiori climbing gym in Varese, a 12‑year‑old girl was struck in the face by a falling rock while securing her father. An emergency response involving a helicopter, CNSAS personnel and fire‑fighters transported her to the local hospital; her condition is serious but not life‑threatening.
