Residential fires reported in Joetsu Myoko and Fukuoka City

Multiple residential fires were reported in Japan on August 31, 2026.

In the Arai Fire Station jurisdiction, a building fire was detected at approximately 11:18 AM near 1071-6 Fujisawa, Nakago-ku.

In Fukuoka City, a fire broke out at a residence in Katakasu, Hakata Ward, around 11:30 AM. Emergency services responded to the scene, where black smoke was observed rising from the area near JR Hakata Station. It is currently unknown if there are any injuries.
