Restaurant chains expand presence in Poland

The Polish food service market is seeing significant expansion from both international and domestic players. American chicken specialist Wingstop has announced its entry into the Polish market. Partnering with British firm Lemon Pepper Holdings and advised by CBRE, the chain aims to open over 100 locations in the long term. Initial expansion will focus on major metropolitan areas, including Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Poznań, and the Tricity area, prioritizing high-traffic shopping centers and commercial streets.

Simultaneously, the Polish kebab chain Berlin Döner Kebap is pursuing its own growth strategy. Currently operating 94 locations, the company plans to reach 99 outlets by the end of 2026. The expansion includes new sites in Legnica, Słubice, and the Tricity area, with a strategic focus on increasing presence in eastern Poland and smaller towns with populations exceeding 30,000 through modular outdoor food concepts.
