Retail expansions announced in Poland
Several retail brands are expanding their physical presence in Poland through new store formats and locations.
MODIVO Group is launching its new discount concept, ShockPrice, in the Focus Mall gallery in Piotrków Trybunalski. The brand, which offers clothing, footwear, and accessories at lower prices, is currently recruiting staff for the new location. This follows the brand's first store opening in Wałbrzych in August.
IKEA is also expanding its footprint with a new compact format store scheduled to open in Białystok's Zielone Wzgórze Gallery on November 12. The 3,600-square-meter space will feature over 2,000 products, interior arrangements, and a Swedish bistro. IKEA plans to open another compact store in Kielce next year as part of a strategy to increase brand accessibility in existing shopping centers.
