Retailers Biedronka and Dino Polska expand logistics infrastructure in Poland

Major Polish retail chains Biedronka and Dino Polska are expanding their logistics infrastructure to support growing store networks and optimize supply chains.

Biedronka has launched its 18th distribution center in Sokołów Małopolski. The facility covers over 214,000 m², with a warehouse area exceeding 27,000 m². Utilizing a new design standard and SAP EWM software, the center features multi-level storage reaching heights of over 10 meters. Located near the S19 expressway, the hub is expected to supply up to 200 stores in southeastern Poland and reduce the network's total delivery mileage by approximately 981,820 km annually.

Dino Polska is advancing the construction of a new technological logistics facility in Zawiercie, managed by Antczak Group. The approximately 45,000 m² warehouse includes cold storage, freezer, and dry storage zones. This investment supports Dino's rapid expansion, which saw the network grow to 3,094 stores by early 2026. The company is also integrating photovoltaic installations at its centers to support energy balance initiatives.
