Retired Carabinieri Giacomo Polverino Marks 103rd Birthday in Taormina

On 18 July 2026, Giacomo Polverino, a retired Appuntato of the Carabinieri born in 1923, celebrated his 103rd birthday at the Villa Zuccaro retirement home in Taormina, Italy. The event was attended by his granddaughter Lucia, fellow residents, staff, and representatives of the Carabinieri Command of Messina and the Taormina Company, who provided a cake bearing the force’s emblem.
