Reus municipal libraries launch 2026‑2027 reading clubs

The Centre de Lectura de Reus, operating under the municipal library system, announced the schedule of reading clubs for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The presentation took place at the Biblioteca Central Xavier Amorós in Reus and was attended by Daniel Recasens, councilor for Culture and Linguistic Policy, and Cristina Garreta, director of the Municipal Libraries of Reus, who outlined the programme and invited residents to join the clubs.

The Centre de Lectura de Reus also reiterated its compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data‑protection law, confirming that personal data collected for the clubs will be handled securely by the city council.

The new reading clubs are intended to promote literary engagement across the community throughout the coming school year.
