Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo denies praying for Tinubu's Muslim-Muslim ticket

Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, the Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) for Barkin Ladi Local Government Area in Plateau State, has denied allegations that he prayed for the success of President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima’s Muslim-Muslim ticket for the 2027 presidential election.

Dachomo, who is currently in Israel on an International Christian Advocacy Tour to highlight the persecution of Christians in Plateau State, stated that reports claiming he supported the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket were attempts to frame him. He clarified that while he has prayed for the success of Nigeria, he did not pray for the specific re-election of the current administration.

“I did not pray for President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima to win in 2027,” Dachomo said, adding that his prayers are intended for both Muslims and Christians in the country.
