Revolut launches AIR AI assistant across Europe

Revolut has launched AIR (AI by Revolut), an integrated artificial intelligence assistant, across several European markets including Poland, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Romania, and Greece. The tool is designed to function as a conversational interface within the existing app, allowing users to manage financial tasks through text rather than navigating traditional menus.

Key capabilities of AIR include analyzing spending habits, managing active subscriptions, and providing instant updates on investment portfolios, such as tracking specific stocks like Nvidia. The assistant also features travel planning tools that can create personalized itineraries, suggest destinations based on budget, and facilitate bookings via the Stays module. Additionally, users can manage RevPoints for services like eSIM data packages or airport lounge access.

To address privacy concerns, Revolut has implemented a zero data retention policy regarding external AI partners, stating that customer data is not used to train external large language models. Julia Ponomareva, Partner and General Manager for CX and AI Products at Revolut, noted that the tool aims to provide a new level of financial intelligence that is powerful yet simple to use.
