Revolut targets 8 million Spanish customers amid new media partnership

British neobank Revolut is expanding its presence in Spain through a new strategic partnership and ambitious growth targets. The company has announced it will sponsor ‘La Tarjeta de El Hormiguero,’ a popular segment on the Antena 3 television program hosted by Pablo Motos. Through this collaboration, Revolut plans to distribute over 300,000 euros in prizes throughout the season via the television contest and parallel monthly giveaways accessible through social media and QR codes.

On the corporate front, Revolut’s Country Manager for Spain and Portugal, Santiago Pérez Olano, has outlined a strategic cycle aimed at making the neobank a primary financial institution for Spanish consumers. Having already reached 6.5 million customers in the country, the company aims to add 2 million more to reach a total of 8 million customers by the end of 2026. The growth strategy focuses on four pillars: accelerated customer acquisition, increasing product penetration among existing users, localizing product offerings, and continuous innovation.
