Revolut to launch airport VIP lounge network starting in 2027

Fintech company Revolut has announced plans to launch 'Revolut Lounge', a network of premium airport VIP lounges, starting in 2027. The first location is scheduled to open at Copenhagen Airport in Denmark in partnership with Plaza Premium Group. The initiative aims to expand the company's brand presence into the physical world and enhance the travel experience for its 75 million customers.

Separately, Revolut CEO Nik Storonsky is reportedly negotiating a new compensation plan with investors. The proposed structure, which mirrors models used by executives like Elon Musk, would link his remuneration to company valuation milestones. Currently holding a 29% stake, Storonsky could significantly increase his ownership if the company reaches specific valuation targets, potentially making him the wealthiest person in the United Kingdom.
