Revolut airport lounge network expansion

Overview

Fintech company Revolut has announced plans to launch ‘Revolut Lounge’, a network of premium airport VIP lounges beginning in 2027. The initiative aims to transition the brand from digital services into physical environments to enhance the travel experience for its 75 million customers.

The first flagship location, the CPH Revolut Lounge, is scheduled to open at Copenhagen Airport in Denmark in partnership with Plaza Premium Group. This site is intended to become the largest common-use lounge within the Schengen Area. Following the Copenhagen launch, Revolut plans to scale the concept to other major international airports across Europe and other global markets.

Hadi Nasrallah, director of Product GP & New Bets at Revolut, stated the goal is to ‘set a new standard for airport hospitality in Europe’. This expansion into physical brand environments follows other recent initiatives, such as the opening of a Revolut Store in Barcelona. While specific details regarding subscription requirements for lounge access have not yet been released, the move is expected to target frequent travelers and premium tier subscribers.
