Revolut to launch premium airport lounge network starting in Copenhagen
Fintech company Revolut has announced plans to establish its own network of premium airport lounges across Europe. The company’s first flagship location is scheduled to open at Copenhagen Airport in 2027.
According to the company, the Copenhagen lounge is expected to be the largest common-use lounge within the Schengen area. The project is part of a broader strategy to expand the brand into physical, real-world environments, following the opening of a retail store in Barcelona. The lounges will be operated in partnership with the Plaza Premium Group.
Hadi Nasrallah, Director of Product GP and New Bets at Revolut, stated that the initiative aims to set a new standard for airport hospitality and provide unique travel benefits to the company’s 75 million customers. While specific details regarding subscription requirements for access have not yet been released, the move targets frequent travelers and premium tier subscribers.
