Rheinmetall Secures Multi‑Hundred‑Million Euro Skynex Air‑Defence Deal

Rheinmetall has signed a contract to deliver four Skynex very short‑range air‑defence systems to an international customer. The agreement, valued at several hundred million euros, marks the first contract with this client and will expand the company's customer base for the technology.

The 39‑month programme calls for the first Skynex battery to be delivered 21 months after signing, with subsequent batteries arriving at six‑month intervals. The deal includes trucks, ammunition and a full Integrated Logistic Support package covering training, spare parts, tools and consumables. Rheinmetall Italia will act as prime contractor, supported by Rheinmetall Air Defence, Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles and Rheinmetall Weapon and Munitions (Switzerland).
