RHONY veterans receive lifetime achievement award ahead of ‘The Golden Life’ premiere

Former ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ stars Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, and Kelly Bensimon have received the Golden Kettle lifetime achievement award at the second-annual ‘Virtual Reali-Tea’ Awards. The honor precedes the premiere of their new spinoff series, ‘The Golden Life,’ which is set in Palm Beach.

During the event, cast members shared reflections on their reunion. Luann de Lesseps noted that she initially declined the series due to scheduling conflicts but reconsidered because of the Palm Beach location and the opportunity to reconnect with her former castmates.

However, tensions appear to exist behind the scenes. Sonja Morgan accused her fellow cast members of ‘bullying’ and ‘sleuthing’ to find information to use against her on camera, stating that she maintains distance from them when not filming to avoid being made to ‘look less than.’
