Ricardo Arjona and Grupo Firme announce new single ‘Amor Factura’

Guatemalan singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona has announced a new musical collaboration with the Mexican regional group Grupo Firme. The single, titled ‘Amor Factura’, is scheduled for release on October 1.

Arjona revealed that the idea for the collaboration was inspired by a video of Grupo Firme’s lead vocalist, Eduin Caz, performing one of Arjona’s songs, ‘Hongos’. This prompted the Guatemalan artist to compose new verses that eventually became the foundation for the new track. Although Arjona had 30 songs already produced in various international locations including Nashville, London, and Stockholm, he chose ‘Amor Factura’ to serve as the lead single for his upcoming musical project.

The song was written in Colombia and recorded in Mexico. Arjona praised the members of Grupo Firme for their authenticity and natural personalities, noting that such qualities are rare in the music industry.
