Ricardo Darín and Diego Peretti star in new Netflix film

The Argentine film ‘Lo dejamos acá’ (released on Netflix as ‘A Terapia Certa’) has premiered, marking a significant onscreen reunion between actors Ricardo Darín and Diego Peretti. Directed by Hernán Goldfrid, the production is a black comedy and psychological suspense film.

The plot follows Ulises Verón (Darín), a renowned but disillusioned psychoanalyst who begins to secretly manipulate the lives of his patients using unconventional and ethically questionable methods. The narrative tension escalates when Martín Bouchard (Peretti), a famous writer suffering from creative block, seeks his help, leading to a complex relationship that blurs professional boundaries.

Produced by Kenya Films, the movie previously had its world premiere at the San Sebastián International Film Festival. Critics have described the tone as a ‘suspense comedy’ that explores themes of mental health, narcissism, and moral responsibility.
