Ricardo Sandoval is set to defend his unified WBA and WBC flyweight titles against Oscar Collazo on October 10 at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago. The bout serves as the co-feature for a major boxing card headlined by a clash between Floyd Schofield and Lucas Bahdi for the vacant WBA lightweight title.

Sandoval, a Mexican-American boxer from Montclair, California, is making his first championship defense following his split-decision victory over Kenshiro Teraji. He faces Collazo, a Puerto Rican fighter from Newark, New Jersey, who is looking to secure a championship in a second weight class after previously holding unified WBA and WBO minimumweight titles.
