Richard Norton death linked to anti-aging peptides

An investigation by the Victorian state coroner has concluded that the death of Australian actor Richard Norton was caused by an anaphylactic reaction following the administration of anti-aging peptides. Norton died at age 75 after suffering a cardiac arrest.

The coroner, David Ryan, determined that the injection of CJC1295 and ipamorelin triggered the fatal reaction. While the substances were prescribed by a doctor, they do not have approval from the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), Australia's regulatory agency. The report indicates that Norton administered a dose higher than what was recommended by his physician.

According to the findings, Norton had informed a nurse two days prior to his death that he was applying double the prescribed dose. Shortly after injecting the compounds, he experienced heat and skin redness before losing consciousness. Norton had reportedly used these experimental treatments to address fatigue, muscle loss, and physical recovery.
