Rick and Morty releases new Season 9 episodes and Season 4 DVD

Adult Swim’s animated series Rick and Morty aired three new Season 9 episodes (6‑8) in July 2026. Episode 6, “Erickerhead,” features Rick’s head separated from his body, creating a conflict that also involves Summer. Episode 7, “Mortgully: The Last Rickforest,” strands Rick and Morty in a Hollow‑Earth prison where they each confront an endless evolutionary cycle before escaping together. Episode 8, “Rickuiem Mort a Dream,” follows Morty’s misuse of an empathy‑boosting alien parasite and a subplot about Rick’s pursuit of a bottomless vodka supply.

The series’ Season 4 was released on DVD and Blu‑ray on 22 September 2020. The DVD retails for $24.98 (US) and $29.98 in Canada; the Blu‑ray costs $29.98 (US) and $39.99 (CA) and includes a U.S.–only digital copy. Bonus features include “A Day at Rick and Morty: Inside Season 4,” episode commentaries, and various behind‑the‑scenes content.
