Rick and Morty season 9 airs new episodes weekly on Adult Swim

Episode 6 of season 9, titled “Erickerhead,” premiered on Sunday June 28, 2026 at 11 p.m. ET/PT on Adult Swim in the United States. The plot follows Rick’s head being separated from his body after a portal accident and later reuniting before the duo joins an intergalactic swimming competition.

The next installment, episode 7 “Mortgully: The Last Rickforest,” is scheduled for Sunday July 5, 2026 at the same 11 p.m. ET/PT slot. The episode will air on Adult Swim in the U.S., with streaming on HBO Max the following day in regions where the service is available. Season 9 consists of ten episodes; after episode 6 there are four episodes remaining.
