Ricoh Japan renovates ViCreA Mie LiveOffice facility

Ricoh Japan has announced the renewal of its LiveOffice facility, ‘ViCreA Mie’, located within its Mie office in Yokkaichi City. The renovation aims to realize a workspace that accommodates diverse working styles based on employee feedback.

The design concept, ‘Mie Miyabi’, integrates local traditions with modern work styles. The space features a Japanese-modern aesthetic, including an entrance inspired by the torii gates of Ise Grand Shrine using cypress from Owase. Meeting rooms are named after local regions such as Yokkaichi, Ise, Tsu, Iga, and Owase to reflect the area's natural and historical culture.

The office is organized into several functional zones: a concentration area for individual tasks, a collaboration area for inter-departmental interaction, a teamwork area for group projects, and refresh/cafe-style areas featuring plants and lighting designed to mimic a bonfire.

Additionally, the facility includes a nursing and welfare solution room to address regional aging society challenges, and displays disaster prevention solutions to address local flood risks in Yokkaichi. The site also utilizes security systems like ‘RECEPTIONIST’ for visitor management.
