Rieti wins international CITY’SCAPE Award for urban regeneration

The city of Rieti has received international recognition at the eleventh edition of the CITY’SCAPE Award 2026. The award, promoted by PAYSAGE and the international journal TOPSCAPE, honors landscape architecture, sustainability, and urban climate resilience solutions.

Competing against 416 projects from more than 30 countries, Rieti secured third place with the project titled ‘Tre acque, una pietra’. Designed by architects Stefano Eleuteri and Giovanni Tomassetti, the project focuses on redesigning the functionality and spaces of Porta d’Arce and Piazza Chiesa del Suffragio. The award ceremony was held at the Triennale di Milano.
