Rimini and Todi approve funding for cultural and social spaces

The Rimini municipal government has approved a 600,000 euro investment to restore the Sala Jolly within the former Cinema Astoria. The project focuses on designing and installing new air conditioning and ventilation systems to make the ground floor space fully functional for the community. This initiative is part of a long-term redevelopment effort for the Astoria building, which has undergone various structural and safety upgrades since 2014 to transform it into a multifunctional cultural hub.

In Todi, an investment of 230,000 euros will be used to create a new socio-cultural center in Piazza di Marte. Located on the ground floor of the town hall, the project will repurpose approximately 100 square meters of space that features Roman and medieval architectural elements. The renovation includes restoring flooring, updating electrical and thermal systems, and installing furniture to host workshops, seminars, and community activities. The center is intended to work in conjunction with the nearby former Church of the Misericordia to enhance the historic center's livability.
