Rimini hosts diverse cultural and religious events
Rimini is hosting a diverse series of cultural and religious events throughout October. At the Teatro Galli, the 2026 opera season concludes with Giuseppe Verdi’s ‘La Traviata’, directed by Andrea Bernard and accompanied by the Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana. The performance will be streamed live on the Opera Streaming platform on October 25.
Cultural celebrations also include the 50th anniversary of Federico Fellini’s ‘Il Casanova’ at the Fellini Museum, featuring exhibitions on cinema, fashion, and art. Additionally, the ‘Parole per la musica’ series will host discussions on classical works, such as Bach’s ‘Mass in B Minor’ with musicologist Alberto Batisti.
In the religious sphere, the Diocese of Rimini is holding its 28th ‘Biblical Week’ from October 19 to 22. Centered on the theme ‘A step from us: Proximity in the Gospel of Mark’, the event offers theological training and discussions led by various scholars and religious figures, concluding with a service at the Tempio Malatestiano.
