Cultural and religious events in Rimini

Overview

In October 2026, Rimini hosted a variety of cultural and religious activities. The Teatro Galli concluded its opera season with a performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s ‘La Traviata’, while the Fellini Museum marked the 50th anniversary of ‘Il Casanova’ with exhibitions on art, fashion, and cinema. Concurrently, the Diocese of Rimini held its 28th ‘Biblical Week’ at the Tempio Malatestiano, focusing on the theme ‘A step from us: Proximity in the Gospel of Mark’.

Following these events, programming in Rimini shifted toward commemorating the anniversary of director Federico Fellini’s passing. Scheduled activities included the ‘Fellini Open’ cycle, film screenings such as ‘Ginger e Fred’, and discussions on ‘Il Casanova di Federico Fellini’. The Teatro Galli also scheduled the production ‘Frankenstein_Diptych’ by the Motus company to explore themes of diversity and social exclusion.
