Rimini receives 33 proposals for new beach macro-aggregations
The Municipality of Rimini has received 33 expressions of interest regarding the creation of macro-aggregations for new beach establishments, as part of the city's beach redevelopment plan. These projects involve grouping multiple existing beach clubs with restaurants to create large-scale facilities with linear fronts of at least 250 meters.
The proposals include various configurations, ranging from large-scale macro-aggregations to smaller micro-aggregations. While many proposals come from local beach operators, including projects from the Rimini South lifeguards' cooperative and the Le Spiagge Rimini consortium, at least two submissions originated from companies outside the province.
The municipality clarified that these expressions of interest are non-binding and do not constitute granted concessions. Instead, they will serve as a basis for the city to organize future competitive bidding processes and determine the organizational structure of the new beach facilities.
