Rimini region hosts youth volunteering, MotoGP events, and local festivals

Various community and sporting events are taking place across the Rimini and Riviera region. In Rimini, the first edition of the ‘YoungER Card’ project concluded, involving 62 young people in 15 different volunteering projects supported by the local municipality and VolontaRomagna.

In anticipation of the MotoGP Grand Prix in Misano, several activities are scheduled. Former world champion and current DJ Marco Melandri is set to perform DJ sets in Cattolica and Misano. While Riccione has seen a reduction in major MotoGP-related events compared to previous years, it will host local activities including simulators and showbike exhibitions.

Additionally, the ‘EreMitico’ festival is scheduled for Saturday at the Parco del Conca di Morciano. This youth-oriented event focuses on social aggregation through music and sports, promoting an ‘alcohol-free’ environment and featuring workshops on violence prevention and substance abuse awareness.
