Motorsport and community events in Emilia-Romagna

The Emilia-Romagna region is hosting various community and motorsport-themed events throughout September.

In the Rimini and Riviera area, activities include the conclusion of the ‘YoungER Card’ youth volunteering project and the ‘EreMitico’ festival, which focuses on music, sports, and social awareness. Preparations for the MotoGP Grand Prix in Misano are also underway, featuring musical performances by Marco Melandri and local exhibitions in Riccione.

Specific motorsport festivals are scheduled in Tavullia and Cattolica. ‘Tavullia in Moto’ will feature pilots from the VR46 Riders Academy and historical motorcycle displays, supported by a new free shuttle service to manage traffic. Meanwhile, ‘Cattolica Ride Week’ will transform Cattolica into a ‘paddock city’ as part of ‘The Riders Land Experience,’ featuring various racing guests, music, and live podcasts ahead of the San Marino Grand Prix.

As the month progresses, the Misano World Circuit prepares for the 33rd iteration of the MotoGP San Marino Grand Prix, scheduled from September 11 to 13. The Cattolica Ride Week continues to feature celebrity guests such as Michele Pirro and Marco Melandri.

Beyond the immediate Riviera area, the broader Italian motorsport and cycling calendar includes the Biella Motor Day on September 13, showcasing supercars, and the tenth stage of the WorldSBK at the Cremona Circuit from September 25 to 27. In the cycling sector, the International Bike Festival in Misano has highlighted new technology, including Ducati’s 2027 high-performance cycling range developed with the Zecchetto Group.
