Rio de Janeiro announces major traffic closures and upcoming construction fairs

The municipal traffic authority CET‑Rio scheduled several lane closures for the night of Monday, June 29, affecting the Santa Bárbara, Rebouças, Zuzu Angel and Acoustic tunnels, as well as the lower deck of the Bandeiras viaduct. Closures will run until early Tuesday morning to allow maintenance and revitalisation work, and drivers are advised to follow posted detours.

Separately, Rio de Janeiro will host two industry events later in the year. The Condominium & Syndic Meeting will take place at ExpoRio Cidade Nova on 24‑25 September, offering legal, sustainability and management sessions, with entry granted in exchange for a kilogram of non‑perishable food. The Feicon construction fair is set for 6‑8 October at Riocentro, featuring over 200 exhibitors, a startup innovation zone and workshops, and is expected to attract more than 10,000 professionals.
